Context
Robin Carels had already built a strong reputation and a recognisable artistic signature. The quality of the work was clear, but the digital experience around it did not yet reflect the same level of precision, trust and attention to detail.
The challenge was not to reinvent the brand. It was to create an online experience that felt as considered and distinctive as the work itself.
Diagnosis
The website needed to do more than display a portfolio.
Visitors had to understand Robin’s style, feel confident in the process and know how to take the next step without unnecessary friction. At the same time, too much of the journey still depended on Robin personally.
The opportunity was to create more clarity around both the work and the way people moved through it.

“We didn’t need to change Robin’s signature. We needed to make the digital experience live up to it.”
Direction
We shaped the experience around three things: clarity, atmosphere and ease of use.
The portfolio was given more space, the structure became more intuitive and the key information was organised around the questions potential clients actually had.
The result was a digital journey that guided people naturally from discovery to understanding and from interest to contact.
Result
The website now feels more aligned with the quality and precision of Robin’s work.
Visitors can understand the style faster, explore the portfolio more naturally and move towards booking with greater confidence.
At the same time, the website carries more of the explanation and guidance itself, reducing the amount of daily communication that has to run directly through Robin.
