Bureau12 was built from two ways of working. A creative instinct for atmosphere, rhythm, image and desire. A structured way of thinking that looks for clarity, logic and direction. That combination shapes the studio. We believe strong businesses are not built by adding more. They are built by knowing what should stay, what should move and what should connect.

Method

It should also help the people inside the business make better decisions. That is why we do not treat strategy, design and digital as separate parts. The name

Bureau12 was founded by Jeffrey van Vogelpoel. The number carries a personal meaning. It refers to a story of finding each other again after twelve years. To timing, trust and the courage to stay open when something still feels worth understanding.

That meaning stays close to the studio. Not as a system, but as a reminder: clarity starts with openness. To understand a business, you first need to understand the people behind it. What they are building, what feels unclear and what they are trying to move toward.
